Beyond Net Zero hackathon kicks off looking for ideas to stay one step ahead

In partnership with Talent Garden Genova and Master SAFE in Gestione delle Risorse Energetiche, ERG has launched Beyond Net Zero, an ideas competition for university students, recent graduates and university researchers. The aim is to find innovative solutions for developing its business plan beyond 2025, projecting its carbon neutrality and sustainability goals into the future, and maximising their impact.

The initiative is part of the 'All4Climate – Italy 2021', the official Pre-COP26 event, aiming to promote 2021 as the year of Climate Ambition.

The hackathon seeks to offer an innovative vision of the ERG of 2050, imagining how to apply its founding values in a global scenario in which technological and social innovation become tools for sustainability. Ideas, insights and suggestions that open up new technological, environmental and social horizons in the energy world.

Go to the dedicated page and find out the rules: the proposals will be presented at the final event on 15 October and a qualified jury will select the winning team for an internship at Talent Garden Genoa and a trip to Scotland to present the project at the COP26 event in Glasgow.
