Trovare un lavoro in linea con le proprie aspirazioni
How to understand which company is right for me:
Among the most frequent reasons that make a person decide to change jobs are the motivation to pursue their passions and personal growth, the desire to feel reflected in company values, the opportunity to work in a sector of interest, the desire for new challenges and the balance between work and private life.
But how can I identify the professional opportunity that best reflects my aspirations? As always, our job begins with us. Learning to analyse ourselves (not just technically) will help us to acknowledge our predispositions and envisage an ideal corporate "model", starting from which we will be able to steer our search in an increasingly targeted manner.
And you, what kind of professional are you?
In search of the Greater God
→ Public services, social enterprises, organisations and companies in critical sectors could give you the opportunity to identify with the corporate mission and pursue your good intentions. |
In search of Success
→ Successful, established and expanding companies about to face new challenges could offer you the opportunity to play a leading role in company growth. |
In search of Beyond the Border
→ International companies with foreign offices in constant contact with other countries could stimulate you and allow you to expand your knowledge by looking at opportunities beyond your borders. |
In search of Balance
→ Consolidated companies, family contexts, small and medium-sized businesses can offer you stability and balance between work and private life. |
In search of Something New
→ Dynamic environments, companies specialised in the development of new products and technologies and innovative start-ups could be what's right for you. |
Do you reflect yourself in one, none or more of the characteristics and figures above? Everything is a good starting point, even recognising that I still don't know how to define myself. It's a job that takes time, so give it time! And note well: times change and we change with them. What may be my predisposition today may no longer reflect who I am tomorrow. Don't stop at the first self-analysis, but carve out moments in your professional career to ask yourself: what does this do for me today?
