Thanks to an important acquisition, our portfolio has grown and we have made our entry into the solar business with 30 photovoltaic plants in eight different regions from the north to the south of Italy with a total installed capacity of 89 MW and with about 136 GWh of annual production while preventing about 77 kT of CO2 emissions. These are all high quality plants located in Piedmont, Emilia Romagna, the Marches, Abruzzo, Campania, Puglia, Calabria and Sicily. One other piece of our technological diversification strategy that lets us expand and optimise our energy management portfolio.

At the beginning of 2019, we acquired 78.5% of a company that manages two photovoltaic power facilities with an overall installed capacity of 51.4 MW in Montalto di Castro (Lazio region), that in 2017 recorded a total output of 95.9 Gwh, corresponding to around 50 kt of avoided CO2 emissions.

This acquisition allows us to become one of the five leading photovoltaic operators in Italy, with over 140 MW of installed power.
