Grow with us

Take charge of your personal and professional growth.

At ERG, we’ve built an integrated system of training programs, structured feedback on performance and potential, and hands-on experiences to support people in facing today’s and tomorrow’s challenges.

But in this journey, the real driving force is you. We provide tools and opportunities, but it’s up to you to take personal responsibility — to develop self-awareness, nurture commitment and a growth mindset, and actively shape your path to stay relevant, create value, and thrive in a constantly evolving world of work.

Be the driver of your development!

Companies are catalysts for your growth: at ERG, we see self-awareness of one’s skills, motivations, talents, and values as the first step toward a personal and professional development plan. For this reason, over time ERG has built a set of tools aimed at achieving strategic objectives and, at the same time, developing its people:

  • Performance Management
  • Potential Assessment
  • Managerial Feedback
  • “Grow Your Energy” – managerial training programs

These processes allow each individual to increase their self-awareness, share information with their People Manager and Human Capital, and define their own training plan to reach growth objectives.

Career Paths

Development is structured into 5 steps:

  • Specialist
  • Professional
  • Manager
  • Senior Manager
  • Director

Each step corresponds to specific technical and managerial competencies that enable handling progressively more complex situations.

Managerial Training

We involve every person in managerial training, regardless of role, seniority, personal background, business area, work location, or contractual working hours.

Everyone is invited to choose which training programs to attend from a dedicated catalogue.

Managerial training has multiple goals, both at an individual level and for the Group as a whole:

  • To understand the values, skills, and behaviors of our Leadership Model;
  • To strengthen individual competencies;
  • To create opportunities for exchange and discussion among people across the Group;
  • To value diversity and foster more inclusive behaviors;
  • To help individuals discover and act upon their talents and personal purpose.

In addition to leadership development and Diversity & Inclusion programs, we have introduced new courses focusing on Multiculturalism and Well-being.

To promote knowledge sharing and support the cultural evolution of the Group, some training courses — particularly on hybrid working and economics — have been created and delivered by internal colleagues as in-house trainers. We are also expanding the number of people involved in mentorship programs and those offering Inspirational Talks as Role Models.

Investing in the personal and professional growth of our people through training is one of our top priorities.

Our training activities are structured around five main areas:

  • Technical/Specialist and on-the-job training;
  • Managerial training;
  • Health and Safety;
  • Language training;
  • Compliance.

The gradual return to in-person activities and the stabilization of smart working have enabled us to design new formats for training processes. Specifically:

  • Language training is currently delivered exclusively online;
  • Technical-specialist training for corporate and white-collar staff takes place both online and in person, while for blue-collar workers it is held almost entirely in person. Notably, this training has been focused on technological upskilling/reskilling and cybersecurity;
  • Managerial training has been redesigned as blended programs, combining in-person sessions, webinar follow-ups, asynchronous individual and group activities, and sometimes individual or group coaching sessions, either in person or online.

Knowledge sharing, cross-functional collaboration, and a commitment to spreading the Franklin Covey Model across ERG are what unite all members of the “Seven Habits Experts” Community.

Since 2019, we have held regular meetings to further explore the model and design initiatives aimed at accelerating the adoption of behaviors linked to our Leadership Model.
