The University of Genoa presents the first 2nd level Master's degree in 'Energy and Sustainability', with the participation of ERG

The University of Genoa has opened enrolment for the first edition of the MEET - 2nd level Master's degree in 'Energy and Sustainability'.

This degree was created to train a new professional figure in the green economy, the Energy Analyst. This person is an expert who can identify possible business opportunities, analyse scenarios and the evolution of regulations to design new strategies for the planning, control and sustainable management of energy systems and sources.

The initiative was strongly backed by ERG and other major companies in the energy sector that are members of the Energy Resources Section of Confindustria Genova.

ERG contributed both to the conception of the master's course and its co-financing, enabling its implementation at a marginal cost for the participants.

To combat climate change, we need to invest in the education of young people, giving the younger generations the chance to make their contribution to the decarbonisation process towards a more sustainable economy powered by renewable energy. ERG has always invested in the younger generations in terms of professional enhancement, development and training through projects in the local area and support for other training initiatives.
