The Tourist guide to Italian wind farms is now online

The 'Tourist guide to Italian wind farms', produced by Legambiente with the sponsorship of ANEV (Associazione Nazionale Energia del Vento - National Wind energy Association) and the participation of several key players in the Italian wind energy sector, including ERG, was launched today at an event in Rome.

The guide aims to help people discover Italy's wind farms from a tourist point of view, providing news and information on natural, historical, cultural and gastronomic features in a real journey through the country’s wind power areas.

The Fortore Molisano area features prominently in the Guide. This area includes the ERG wind farms sited between Pietracatella, Monacilioni, Sant'Elia in Pianisi and Macchia Valfortore, in the province of Campobasso. In this way, we will contribute to the social and economic development of the areas hosting our plants as part of the activities included in our ESG Plan 2021-25 [link].The Guide is also linked to the website www.parchidelvento.it, which contains a series of interactive maps of the areas where Italian wind farms are located, with an appendix concerning several wind farms in other parts of the world, included in tourist tours.

Once again, ERG is playing a leading role in new and innovative projects with the desire to nurture and spread the culture of energy transition, where wind and natural landscapes meet and integrate, discovering a new combination and a new aesthetic.
