Sustainable Procurement Project: new Supplier Sustainability Assessment Process

Within the project "Sustainable Procurement", aimed at introducing sustainability criteria in the parameters of evaluation and selection of our supply chain in coherence with the business model of ERG, the Procurement function has invited a group of selected suppliers, representing 76% of our purchase volume for the two-year period 2019/2021, to the compilation of a questionnaire, with the aim of assigning them a sustainability rating during the tender phase.

The goal is not only to address any critical issues, through dedicated monitoring tools and improvement plans, but also to "reward" suppliers who show more virtuous behavior on these fundamental issues.
