Renato Sturani

Born in Heidelberg, Germany, on 22 July 1967. Married, with one son.

Following his degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1992 from Politecnico di Milano, he obtained an MBA at SDA Bocconi – School of Management in Milan in 2003.

He speaks Italian, French, English and German.

He joined ERG Group in December 2020 where he currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer.

He can boast over twenty-five years of experience in international electricity companies, mainly in the area of Operations:

- from October 2013 to November 2020 in BKW AG (Switzerland) where he first held the position of Head of Business Division Renewables & Efficiency and later of Head of Business Unit Hydraulic Power Generation;

- from July 2002 to October 2013 in ALPIQ AG, Olten (Switzerland) where he first held the position of Head of Business Unit Power Generation Region West (Italy and France) and later of Head of Business Unit Renewable Energy Sources (5 European countries);

- from January 1993 to July 2002 in ABB Alstom Power in the position of Site Manager, he followed the construction of combined cycles in Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan and Mexico.
