New in-house management of our solar power plants in Sicily and Calabria
Our Operation & Maintenance department in Sicily and Calabria has taken a further step towards fully integrating solar into the Group's industrial structure.
Since 1 July, our O&M has been in charge of maintenance at the Favara, Mulino Nuovo and Rivelli plants (5.2 MW in total). This is part of a programme that over the last two years has already internalised the maintenance of our parks located in San Floro - Girifalco (CZ) in Calabria (24 MW) and Monreale in Sicily (5 MW).
The decision to manage the maintenance of solar power plants in Sicily in-house in order to improve operating efficiency, allows us to exploit the knowledge and expertise developed over the last three years. The aim is to ensure increasingly high maintenance quality standards, in line with the Group's business vision.
