Evishagaran UK completata oggi con successo l'installazione della prima turbina eolica
The first wind turbine of the 13 planned was installed today on the Evishagaran worksite.
"This important step makes us particularly proud and confirms our commitment to the growth of renewable energy in the UK, thus contributing to the energy transition towards a totally green future generation" - says Costantino Deperu, ERG Chief Engineering Development Officer.
In May ERG will also start the installation on its second project in Northern Ireland, Craiggore, near Evishagaran, which is getting ready to welcome its wind turbines.
With a total installed capacity of 70 MW and an energy production of about 260 GWh/y, these two wind factories will contribute to the decarbonisation process of the Country with a target to bring greenhouse gas emissions to net zero by 2050.
The Evishagaran and Craiggore wind factories are expected to go into production in the second half of 2021.
