ERG e Glencore firmano Power Purchase Agreement per la fornitura di oltre 800 GWh in Polonia

Genoa, 25 September 2026 – ERG, a leading independent renewable energy producer, has entered into a five-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Glencore Energy Europe B.V., one of the word largest global market commodities trader, for the sale of electricity generated by three of the Group’s wind farms in Poland.

The agreement, structured on a baseload profile and effective from 1 January 2027, covers the supply of 164 GWh of renewable electricity per year from the Radziejów, Słupia and Szydłowo wind farms, representing approximately 70% of their expected output, for a total contracted volume of approximately 820 GWh over the five-year term.

Paolo Merli, CEO of ERG, commented: “The PPA with Glencore, a leading player in the international energy markets, represents a further step in the implementation of our strategy to stabilise revenues through long-term contracts. This agreement, which enhances the value of our wind portfolio in Poland and further confirms the Group’s leadership in the international PPA market, brings the annual volume of electricity contracted by ERG over the past five years to approximately 4 TWh, equivalent to around 45% of total generation.”
