ERG e Duferco Energia firmano accordo per la fornitura di 500 GWh di energia eolica in Italia

Genoa, 20 December 2024 – ERG, a leading independent producer of renewable energy, and Duferco Energia, a company of the Duferco Group among the leading suppliers of electricity and gas in Italy, have signed a 5-year Pay as Produced Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for the supply of approximately 100 GWh per year of green energy produced by the Rotello wind farm in Molise with an installed capacity of 42 MW. The wind farm will be out of its incentivization period starting in 2025.

Paolo Merli, CEO of ERG, has commented: "The agreement with Duferco Energia, a leading international industrial player, aligns with our strategy to secure revenues for both new assets and those approaching the end of their incentivization period, such as the Rotello wind farm. This contract further strengthens the Group's leadership in the PPA market, key for stabilizing revenues in a highly volatile scenario."
