ERG consolidates its presence in Spain

Genoa, 23 June 2023 - ERG, through its subsidiary ERG Hamburg Holding GmbH, has completed the closing for the acquisition from IBV Solar Parks, BV, a company of the German group ib vogt GmbH, of a 100% stake in Garnacha Solar SL, which is the owner of a solar power plant located in the region of Castilla and León, in north-western Spain.

As previously announced (see press release on 5th May 2023) the plant, currently in the final phase of construction, will have an installed capacity of 149 MWp. It is expected to reach commercial operation by the end of 2023.

This operation will consolidate ERG’s presence in Spain that will achieve an important positioning in the country, in line with the geographical and technological diversification targets envisaged in the 2022-2026 Business Plan.
