ERG at Key Energy 2026

ERG at Key Energy 2026

ERG is once again participating in Key Energy, the leading event in Italy and the Mediterranean for renewable energy, energy efficiency and the energy transition.

The event brings together operators, institutions, stakeholders and companies to discuss the industrial, regulatory and technological challenges reshaping the energy system.

What topics will ERG address?

On Thursday, 5 March, Luca Bragoli, Chief Regulatory & Public Affairs Officer, will join the panel “A Steering Room to Accelerate the Energy Transition”, focusing on the issue of so-called “virtual grid saturation”.

The discussion will explore regulatory, digital and infrastructure solutions to overcome connection constraints and transform the grid from a potential bottleneck into a true enabler of the transition.

He will also participate in the panel “The Balance of the Italian Electricity System in the New Demand-Supply Scenario”, addressing how to reconcile decarbonization, security and economic sustainability in a context of weak demand, negative price risks and increasing flexibility needs.

What is ERG’s contribution to European projects?

At our stand, Francesco Peccianti, Energy Studies, will present the European project LUMENS “Open Source Tools to enable the EU Energy Transition”, funded under Horizon Europe.

The project aims to facilitate renewable integration into the European energy market, addressing technical, financial, social and regulatory challenges and contributing to the achievement of net-zero targets by 2030 while strengthening European competitiveness.
