Elisabetta Caldera joined Aegon, a Dutch global Insurance and asset Management player, on June 1, 2021 as Chief HR Officer and member of the Executive Committee. The Company has 21BEUR Revenues, around 25000 employees and a prevalent presence in United States, United Kingdom and The Netherlands.

She started her HR career in 1994 at Foster Wheeler and then moved to ABB Alstom. In 2004 she joined Vodafone Italy where she was appointed HR & Organization Director and member of the Executive Committee. In 2015, she moved to Vodafone Group in London as HR Director for the Global Technology function and then became CHRO for Europe in 2018.

She held the role of NED at Falck Renewable where she was also chairing the Remco and Nomco from 2014 till July 2022.  Italian by nationality, after living for 6 years in UK is currently based in the Netherlands. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree with honors in Literature from Bologna University. She also holds a certificate of Professional Counselling and an Executive Master in Senior Executive HR Management at SDA Bocconi. She graduated in the third class of Intheboardroom in 2014.
