COMUNICATO ERG Renew entra nel mercato eolico rumeno attraverso l'acquisizione di un progetto per la realizzazione di un parco della potenza prevista di 84 MW

Genoa, 17 December 2012 - LUKERG Renew, the joint venture of ERG Renew and LUKOIL- Ecoenergo, has completed the closing for the acquisition from Inergia SpA (Santarelli Group) of a 100% equity interest in Land Power Srl, a company existing under the Romanian law and holding the land rights and the permits to realize a wind farm project in Romania, in the region of Tulcea, with a planned capacity of up to 84 MW and electricity output, when fully operative, estimated at more than 200 GWh per year.
LUKERG Renew plans to start the construction in first quarter 2013 in order to reach the commercial operation of the wind farm in the first half 2014. The total investment costs for the construction of the wind farm is estimated in approximately 135 M€. LUKERG Renew intends to finance the project on a long-term non-recourse project financing basis with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development which is in the process of due diligence on the project.
