2019 Environmental Declarations of ERG Hydro and ERG Power now online

The Environmental Declarations of ERG Hydro and ERG Power, the companies that operate at the Terni hydroelectric complex and the natural gas thermoelectric plants of Priolo Gargallo (Syracuse) respectively, are now online.

Drafted according to the requirements of EC Regulations no. 1221/2009 and 2017/1505/EU, the 2019 Environmental Declarations provide a detailed update on the commitments undertaken and the results achieved by ERG in the environmental sphere in 2018.
The Environmental Declarations, drafted according to EMAS and validated by a third-party certification body, are an effective tool for planning and reporting objectives of environmental improvement both to the communities and areas in which our plants are located, and in general towards all stakeholders.

EMAS registration and the adoption of an Environmental Management System, consistent with the ISO 14001 international standard, enable the Group companies to pursue the effective and efficient management of environmental aspects and embody ERG's desire to maintain an active and transparent dialogue with its stakeholders. The dissemination of a sustainable development model is a prerequisite for guaranteeing continuity and quality of results, combining them with respect for the environment and communities.
