This page describes the policy implemented with regard to the processing of personal data of users who consult the website. This information notice is provided pursuant to Article 13 of Italian Legislative Decree No. 196/2003 (Personal Data Protection Code) and is addressed to all individuals who interact with the web services that can be accessed online via "" – the home page of the ERG S.p.A. website.

The information notice applies only to the aforementioned website and not to other websites that may be accessed via links contained on the pages of the ERG S.p.A. website.

The Data Controller is ERG S.p.A., with registered office at Via De Marini 1, Genoa, Italy.

Place of data processing

The data processing related to the web services provided by this website takes place at the aforementioned registered office of ERG S.p.A. and is performed exclusively by technical personnel in charge of data processing, or by employees of Adacto Srl, Via dei Cappuccini, 75 50053 Empoli (FI), the Data Processor duly appointed by the Data Controller. The Data Processor is responsible for the technical management and occasional maintenance of the website and its employees are responsible for data processing and have been appropriately trained with respect to data protection.

No personal data deriving from the web service is communicated or disseminated to third parties.

During normal operation, the IT systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire certain personal data the transmission of which is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.

This information is not collected to be associated with identified individuals, however, by its very nature it could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, lead to the identification of users.

This category of data includes IP addresses (the Internet address assigned to a user's computer by the Internet Service Provider), the domain names of computers used by users connecting to the website, the browser (e.g. Firefox or Internet Explorer), the date and time of the request and other parameters regarding the user's operating system and computer environment.

These data could be used to ascertain responsibility in the event that computer crimes are committed against the website. In any case, these data are deleted within six (6) months of processing.

Data is also collected and processed for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information about the website and to ensure that it is functioning properly.

Data provided voluntarily by the user

The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of email to the addresses indicated on this website entails the subsequent acquisition of data regarding the sender, which is needed in order to reply to any requests, including any additional personal data included in the email address.
